How do we bring fresh A2 Gir Cow Milk to you every day?

Milk It

Milk is collected from the cows using German technology which is pain-free for the cows.

Chill It

The fresh milk is immediately chilled in our Bulk Milk Cooler.

Pack It

Once the batch is ready the packaging machine starts taking milk from the cooler and directly to the bottles.

Deliver It

Fresh milk packed in the bottles is delivered to you at your doorstep within a few hours.

Bovine milk(important source of protein) contains 85-87% water and 13-15% solids, including fat, protein, lactose, and minerals. Its proteins are casein and whey, with casein divided into alpha, beta, and kappa types.

Beta-casein is crucial in this context which exists mainly as A1 and A2 variants. Both the variants differ by a single amino acid at position 67 - histidine in A1 and proline in A2. This small difference majorly impacts your digestion process.

A1 beta-casein loosely binds with position 66 which is easily broken down by digestive enzymes. Its outcome produces a peptide of a string of seven amino acids called beta-casomorphin-7 (BCM 7) which is linked to serious health issues such as heart disease, Type 1 diabetes, autism, and schizophrenia.

On the other hand, A2 beta-casein tightly binds with position 66 & position 68 which refrains it from further separation of amino acids & producing BCM 7. This is the reason why A2 beta-casein protein is healthier for you & so is A2 milk.

Yes, GirOrganic dairy farm only consists of A2 Gir Cows, and the milk produced by them is A2 milk. We are the fourth generation of a farmer's family, and our grandfather started with 10 Gir cows in 1990. Today, we have more than 450 Gir cows on our farm.

Where Do You Deliver Milk?

Is GirOrganic A2 Gir Cow Milk Pasteurised?

No, GirOrganic A2 milk is not pasteurized. It is freshly packed, raw and chilled. Within a few hours of milking the cows, it gets delivered to your doorstep.

Is it available in a bottle or a pouch?

GirOrganic A2 Gir Cow Milk is available in a glass bottle as well as a pouch.

Are cows injected with hormonal/growth injections?

We consider cow as our mother, and one should not hurt their mother. We do not use any hormonal or growth injections on our cows, and we milk our cows only after feeding the calves first.

What are the cows fed?

Gir A2 Cow fodder is prepared using 7-10 different components like Jinjava grass, alfa, maize, mineral supplements, groundnut cake, Napier grass, etc.

What are A1 & A2 Milk?

A1 and A2 are the protein content of milk. A1 protein is found in western breeds of cows like Jersey, HF, Guernishire, etc., while A2 protein is found in indigenous breeds of cows like Gir, Kankrej, Sahiwal, and Red Sindhi, etc. A2 protein is easier to digest than A1 protein.
